The selected candidate will be responsible for leveraging the current frameworks to conduct thorough unit and regression tests. The company's platform enables researchers to create distinctive solutions to challenging biological issues. The company has managed to raise more than $51 mn in funding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and maintain fault-tolerant, straightforward software
- Build software to control scientific equipment, including software to run experiments, process images, and analyze data
- Perform thorough unit and regression tests using the current frameworks
- Establish software requirements in close collaboration with the technical, scientific, and product teams
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- 2-3+ years of experience developing C++, Rust, or C# applications for embedded, high-performance, or complex life sciences systems
- Experience using C++, C#, and React
- Knowledge of REST APIs, gRPC, and WebSockets
- Familiarity with developing scientific instrumentation
- Knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Self-starter who is highly driven and capable of working alone without supervision
- Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and speaking
