Within the Finance Department , we are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented new colleague to join the new Tax Team we are building for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare . In that respect, we are very much attached to find a candidate with a strong sense of commitment, towards the tasks, the business and the team.

Although mostly located in France, our Tax team is spread over many geographies and we offer you to be part of an international setting with many contacts across different functions and countries. As part of the EULA Tax Team (that is operationally responsible for tax matters in Europe and Latin America), you will report to the CHC Head of Tax, EULA located in France and will be managing our Brazilian Tax Manager (located in Sao Paulo) and Senior Tax Manager for LATAM (whom could be located in Brazil too or in one of our major other LATAM countries).

Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee tax matters in LATAM, with 8 legal entities in 8 countries, with a strong focus on Brazil as well as Mexico and our distributor model driven through Panama for the other LATAM countries;
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations across those jurisdictions, assessing their impact and recommending appropriate actions, to seize possible opportunities especially;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, IT, Procurement, and operations to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions;
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, tax authorities and auditors;
• Ensure compliance with local Transfer Pricing requirements, in coordination with our Transfer Pricing Team.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree (business administration, finance areas or equivalent);
• Deep knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing regulation;
• Minimum 10-year experience in tax planning & compliance;
• Strong expertise in Brazilian direct and indirect taxes (or another major country of the LATAM region);
• Good understanding of accounting standards and tax engines;
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to prioritise tasks effectively;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish (is a plus).
