Job description

• Handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance.
• Develop and manage suppliers under the guidance of Quality, Service, Technology, and Price strategies. This includes sound understanding of required program lead times, supplier lead times and capacities.
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relations.
• Active participation with key stakeholders – Engineering , Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships.
• Maintain Performance Pipeline for budgetary requirements
• Lead Strategic Supplier Cost Savings Initiatives.
• Adhere to Corporate purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize Direct Material Sourcing Process (Request for Quotation, Analysis of Quotation, Source Selection) to establish a capable/competitive supply base.
• Negotiate renewal or resource of Blanket Orders

Skills

• Bachelor degreed in Business Administration, Engerineering or corretaled are
• Advanced level of English is required
• Spanish is a plus
• Experience with commodities (electrical components, plastic parts, resins, paint, etc.).
• Proven competence in negotiating skills.
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform in depth analysis of all cost drivers, learn and develop sound strategies based on changing market developments, market pricing and commodities trends.
• Strong quantitative and mathematical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers.
