Senior Back-End Engineer

Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing an efficient cryptocurrency trading platform while leveraging cutting-edge technologies, is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with integrating APIs and speeding up the organization's adoption of the financial stack. The company's innovative platform enables investors and traders to buy and sell crypto at absolutely no commission charges. The company has managed to securely raise $8.5mn+ during their Seed round of funding. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide testable, efficient, and reusable code
• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency applications
• Connect server-side functionality with user-facing components created by front-end developers
• Debug and troubleshoot production-related problems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Demonstrable experience working with Python and Node.js
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
• Fluent in English communication, both verbal and written
