We are a leading Global Custom Software Development and IT Staff Augmentation Organization. Our development centers are based in Latin America where for almost two decades we have been building high-end software solutions and augmenting technology teams.
Responsibilities:
It is being developed an entirely new event-based solution on AWS, which will be central to future systems integrations. You will have the opportunity to influence the design and approach taken in that development. You will be working in a small, highly focused team made up of talented professionals who are dedicated to solving highly complex problems in support of a fast-moving business. Below are some of the main responsibilities.
1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on design, development, and testing.
2. Write clean, maintainable code, to support the business.
3. Troubleshoot and debug both new and legacy applications.
4. Collaborate with e-commerce and other departments to integrate the supply chain applications with various internal and external systems.
5. Gather and address technical and design requirements.
6. Provide training and support to colleagues, and other internal teams.
7. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Requirements:
1. Solid experience as a Backend Developer;
2. Proficiency in using Node.js;
3. Experience in using React;
4. Skills in using AWS Services;
5. Experience working in agile environments;
6. S olid understanding of API development.
Soft Skills:
1. Proactive approach to problem-solving;
2. Ability to work autonomously and effectively without constant supervision;
3. Self-management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently;
4. Ability to work alone when necessary, while also being a strong team player when collaborating with colleagues;
5. Capacity to make decisions independently without relying solely on leadership guidance.
Nice to have:
1. Experience in functional programming preferred.
