Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to join our team. As a developer, you will work independently within your area of expertise, collaborating with other developers as needed. Your main responsibility will be the maintenance and minor improvements of a character-based application used for medical billing processes. You should have strong experience and understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and possess expertise in Progress OpenEdge, SQL, unit testing, and SDLC practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining and making minor improvements to a character-based application used for medical billing processes.
• Collaborating with the technical lead to review tickets at a high level and assign them based on areas of expertise.
• Conducting unit testing on developed solutions before passing them to the Quality Team.
• Collaborating with the DBA Administration team for solution deployment.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in developing applications using Progress OpenEdge.
• Strong knowledge working with SQL databases.and SQL database management systems.
• Experience conducting unit tests to ensure quality code delivery, using unit testing methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical billing processes.
