The Executive Protection & Investigation Specialist will bear the crucial responsibility of safeguarding Nubank's executives and reputations across all domains. The role entails a comprehensive oversight of executive protection protocols, proper execution of investigations, and expense prudence while proposing solutions and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Strategization: Formulate executive protection & investigation measures congruent with Nubank's standards and policies.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the proper implementation of executive protection protocols and mechanisms across Nubank’s locations in Latam, ensuring that all risks and threats were properly identified and mitigated. Performs investigations in a proper manner aligned with all required stakeholders providing findings to Nubank to take the appropriate actions.
- Periodically undertake risk evaluations and proffer strategies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities related to executive protection and investigations.
- Lead, guide, and support, executive protection agents ensuring that they will meet all requirements and standards previously defined by Nubank.
- Interdepartmental collaboration: Liaise with various teams within Nubank to determine the best approach while performing investigations.
- External Alliances: Nurture affiliations with third-party security vendors and pivotal stakeholders, incorporating law enforcement entities and external security consultants when required.
- Incident Investigation: Extend requisite support to internal units, such as the Nubank IU, in probing security transgressions, and further furnishing remedial recommendations.
- Budgetary Stewardship: Manage the expense allocations for executive protection and ascertain conformance to approved financial thresholds.
- Compliance: While executing executive protection and investigations activities, the professional must be aware of and meet all data privacy and law enforcement requirements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in domains such as Executive Protection, Investigations, Criminal Justice, or military background.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in executive protection & investigations management. Prior experience within startups, financial, or technological sectors would be advantageous.
- Comprehensive awareness of the security sector's gold standards and best practices, notably in areas like executive protection & investigations.
- Inherent leadership qualities complemented by adept personnel management capabilities.
- Proficient communication aptitude, complemented by analytical and problem-resolution acumen.
- The capability to thrive in a dynamic, high-velocity operational environment.
- Fluency in languages including Portuguese, and English. Spanish is a plus.
- A PSP or CPP certification would be a distinctive advantage.
