About the Opportunity:
FedTec is looking to hire an IT Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing the daily IT operations to ensure the organizations IT infrastructure systems and services are reliable secure and aligned with business objectives. The candidate will oversee a team of IT professionals and work collaboratively with other departments to meet ITrelated goals.

Primary Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of the organizations IT infrastructure including servers networks storage and data centers.
- Ensure hardware and software are up to date secure and meet business needs.
- Ensure VoiceoverInternet Protocol (VoIP) telephone systems are working correctly.
- Ensure Clientlevel Personal Wireless Communication Systems (PWCS) functions are working correctly.
- IT Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of IT services to endusers is efficient and meets or exceeds service level agreements (SLAs).
- Implement and maintain IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage mentor and develop a team of IT professionals including system administrators network administrators and support staff.
- Assign tasks set objectives and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Incident and Problem Management: Experience with Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (EITSM) version 2 trouble ticket management system
- Establish incident and problem management processes to identify and resolve IT issues promptly.
- Lead response efforts during critical incidents and outages.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts evaluate performance and ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to support IT projects and operational needs.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies procedures and controls.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure IT systems can recover from disruptions.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven Operations Manager experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure systems and technologies.
- Proven experience in team leadership and management.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL principles.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Project management skills and experience are a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL PMP) are an advantage.
