Your Next Career Opportunity – Health and Safety Manager
Under the direction of the Director of Safety, the Health & Safety Manager will manage, monitor and report on assigned country's safety programs. Provide necessary training to employees and contractors in accordance with country specific health and safety regulations. Provide feedback to management relative to job site compliance.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities - Build and maintain partnership with country’s operations and management to ensure compliance with SBA safety programs.
- Inform Director of Safety and Safety & Compliance Manager of issues related to safety compliance.
- Interpret and communicate safety regulations including country, state, company and client procedures with country’s management and subcontractors.
- Coordinate, conduct and assist in safety training for Team Members, clients, and contractors.
- Coordinate, train and lead the internal Fire Brigade Team Members.
- Coordinate the PCMSO and PPRA annual checklist with HRBP and the Health & Safety provider.
- Coordinate the Tower Visiting for the office Team Members according to the local law.
- Be part of the SIPAT organization committee.
- Perform detailed jobsite safety and property inspections as specified by SBA H&S program.
- Coordinate and document incident response in accordance with Incident Action Plan.
- Maintain inventory of safety equipment for SBA Employees.
- Collect, analyze, and provide metrics related to risk management performance.
- Support Insurance Administrator with country’s insurance claims.
- Successfully perform duties in a remote and unsupervised position through proactive communication and involvement.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
- Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
- Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
- Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical degree;
- and 5-10 years safety experience. 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications or construction industry preferred. Climbing experience strongly preferred. Loss Control experience in construction industry a plus.

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Or Req
- First Aid Certification Req
