Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accounting knowledge in fixed assets, cost, general accounting for both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Brazil and United States), including International Financial Reporting Standards and Comitê de Pronunciamentos Contábeis;
- Month closing routines for statutory and managerial books – working closely with Financial Planning;
- External Audit support for all accounting requests;
- Coordinate and assist in annual statutory report;
- Monitoring of Sox controls under area responsibility;
- Local Obligations expertise (e.g Sistema Público de Escrituração Digital (SPED) / Escrituração Contábil Digital (ECD), others);
- Strong analysis and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change;
- Strong communication abilities;
- Passion for continued self-development;
- Be proactive, organized;
- Teamwork: collaborate with other team members from various departments.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required;
- Conselho Regional de Contabilidade (CRC) certificate is much appreciated;
- Excellent communications (oral, reading and written) in English and Portuguese;
- Macro experience / knowledge of finance area (accounting);
- Experience with SAP FI-CO;
- Availability to work in a hybrid working model in São Paulo/SP.
