Job description
- Ensure regional Packaging requirements are part of the innovation briefs and be the regional packaging gatekeeper to the innovation teams to guarantee a full proven implementation of the new packaging into the region.
- Be the R&D Packaging expert in working with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Procurement to manage the packaging range in LATAM.
- Manage the packaging supply (make) and manufacturing (fill) base together with the Supply Chain in terms of quality, supplier and 3PA selection and total costs in the supply chain.
- Develop and implement new packaging (components) on a regional level for projects that are out of the Innovation Development process scope. Ensure projects and products are delivered against predefined set of criteria based on agreed briefs.
- Work with Procurement and Quality Assurance Team to identify Savings opportunities for currently existent packaging.
- Use and apply appropriate Design for Lean Six Sigma tools in the packaging qualification process, such as FMEA's and Design of Experiments in co-operation with the Engineering laboratory teams.
- Ensure all packaging specifications and drawings are up-to-date and agreed with the suppliers and all documentation is captured in the Product Life Cycle management systems.

In this position, person will manage all packaging for the LATAM Region, ensuring specifications are in place to guarantee quality of Diversey products. Will be part of the regional portfolio team, working with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Procurement, to agree on the regional packaging strategy, including modifications to existing packaging, packaging range harmonization, support new customer sales, roll-out from other regions, savings and new developments.
