Job description
A rapidly-growing company that is providing maritime supply-chain solutions for importers and exporters is looking for a Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be in charge of using React.js and Node.js to convert VB and ASP code into front-end applications. The U.S.-based company offers practical, implementable solutions to close the transportation and technological gap. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone and will be a long-term, full-time role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine and document the technical specifications for software programs
- Develop and maintain clean, simple, readable codes
- Ideate and implement new solutions or technologies for improvements
- Communicate clearly and effectively amongst team members
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or front-end developer
- Demonstrable experience working with .NET, React, and Node.js
- Prolific experience with JavaScript, DOM manipulation model, HTML, and CSS
- Extensive experience with common front-end development tools like Node.js, NPM, Yarn, and data structure libraries like Immutable.js
- Demonstrable experience with Python, AWS Cloud, and integration with API and EDI technologies
- Solid understanding of security, cookies, and reverse-proxies
- Prior experience in deployment skills
- Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and version control system SVN
- Experience in the logistics industry is desirable
- Good English communication skills
