Want to help Earth’s most customer-centric company design, implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies to improve the customer experience and protect Amazon’s brand?
In this role, you will work closely with Amazon's Last Mile transportation businesses to plan, scope, and execute audits to verify carrier partners are meeting legal and contractual obligations relating to business practices, driver / provider eligibility, and safety standards. You will be expected to apply risk and control concepts to new and existing business models, clearly and concisely communicate identified findings to carrier partners, and internally report audit results in a timely and effective manner. You will provide carriers with consultative support to identify opportunities for improvement, develop corrective action plans to address audit defects, and manage those remediation plans to closure. You will also work collaboratively with the business, safety, legal, finance, tech, and human resource teams to implement world-class, customer-centric, compliance and risk management solutions. This position requires the ability to speak and write fluently in English and Portuguese. Position will also require working onsite in one of our three Amazon Corporate office in São Paulo, SP, a minimum of 3 days a week with travel periodically. Key job responsibilities- BA or BS in Business, Economics, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Law, IT, or relevant field.
- Audit experience related to business processes, risk mitigation, program compliance, regulatory compliance, internal audit, or other control and assurance functions.
- Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with complex databases and data analytics tools.
- Continuous improvement background (i.e., 6-sigma, ISO, Total Quality, Etc.).
- Transportation or logistics experience.
- One or more professional certifications - CPA, CISA, CIA, CFE, CCEP, PMP.
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
