What you’ll do:
Job Summary
Support MGSA leadership by providing financial and manufacturing analysis to determine optimum use of capital to maximize returns, project analyses for a variety of initiatives, including business scenarios modeling, process improvements, quotes, management reports etc. Mainly for Growth related projects.
Provide portfolio profitability analysis and support on macro sales analysis, such as outgrowth to the market.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares complete business cases, with strategic and financial analysis, to frame strategic rationale for all investment decisions.
- Prepares Cost models for quotes and Capital Appropriation Requests, including key metrics, financial data and presentation of executive summaries
- Reviews discounted cash flow valuation analysis for development of new business including market impact, pricing, cost, and project investments
- Guides cross-functional teams for the completion of projects, including global peers when required
- Develop due diligence process
- Provides financial and manufacturing analysis to determine optimum use of capital to maximize returns for VG South America
- Develops and maintains financial models for various opportunities (new business development, quotations, decapitalizations, cost out, Merger & Acquisitions, Capital)
- Manage pricing/cost analysis for customer/supplier proposals and competitiveness analysis.
- Prepares profitability analysis to drive strategic decisions on price recover and portfolio management, supporting strategies led by Sales, Product Line and other functional teams.
- Consolidate sales information at regional level and provide macro analysis to the leadership (i.e. outgrowth to the market).
- Apply digital mindset to lead and support solutions development to improve financial processes efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Engineering or Business (related courses)
- Work experience in business development, consulting, and strategic planning or investment analysis.
- Experience with costing, financial modeling, strategic framework tools, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Intermediary English.
- Power Bi desirable
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, team-building skills and experience presenting recommendations to senior executives
- Advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and a strong awareness of larger team/department strategies and customer needs.
- Be able to work on multiple projects at one time (time management skills)
- Ability to create compelling management presentation
- Experienced individual contributors able to adapt broader policies and programs to meet the organization business needs.
- Ability to work independently and to provide consultative advice within specific functional areas.
- Discretion and proper judgment must be exercised in maintaining the confidentiality of the projects supported by the businesses.
