About the Role: As a DevOps Engineer specializing in US healthcare technology, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment processes that underpin our healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare industry standards, compliance, and the technical skills required to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
This is a remote, contract-based role.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
- Implement automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and ensure consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment workflows
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for stability and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations in all DevOps practices
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and system maintenance
- Collaborate on security measures, ensuring the highest level of data protection
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on US healthcare technology
- Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes
- Experience with monitoring tools and practices for ensuring system reliability
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Nice to Have: - Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Docker Certified, Kubernetes Certified)
- Understanding of healthcare compliance and security standards (e.g., HIPAA)
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
- Previous work on electronic health record (EHR) systems or healthcare management platforms
