Job Summary
We are looking for a highly productive and self-motivated eCommerce Finance Administrator to join our growing eComm team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will play an integral role in resolving day-to-day finance challenges with our eCommerce operations.
Trend Marketing is a multi-brand distributor and operates 10+ eCommerce and Marketplace platforms with very recognizable retail outlets in Canada.
Responsibilities
• Assist in reconciling eCommerce and retail bank accounts on a monthly basis;
• Partner with CSR in loss-mitigation and chargeback activities on a daily basis;
• Reconcile branded eCommerce sales-cash application on a monthly basis;
• Investigate and resolve reconciliations between Shopify and ERP transactions;
• Liaise with CSR and Warehouse to process credits in ERP system;
• Track and reconcile online Gift Cards to accounting ledger;
• Support annual audits around eCommerce activities;
• Perform specific analysis around eCommerce and Retail activities;
• Assist in other eCommerce administrations as required;
Skills/Qualifications
• 2-3 years of eCommerce operations;
• Familiarity with Shopify and Paypal a must; nice to know Klarna, Payoneer and AmazonPay;
• Basic familiarity with Canada Post/Purolator online tracker;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Pivots, write excel formulas and run MACROS;
• Basic accounting concepts a must;
• Good communication, verbally and orally;
• Ability to conceptualize processes and strong attention to detail;
• Effective time management and strong organizational skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Punctual, dedicated, and passionate about the role
