Job Summary:

The accounting analyst will support the accounting and tax departments in the preparation of the financials and in other tax-related activities. This position will play a key role in ensuring high-quality accounting report preparation to make sure the company is running in a manner that complies with local and overseas requirement

Work Location: São Paulo, região Berrini

Key responsibilities

• To prepare the balance sheet reconciliation (bank, payroll, fixed assets, taxes, accounts payable and receivable).
• To prepare the monthly and annual accounting closing.
• To support the tax team (invoice registration, invoice issuing, reconciliations and reports).
• To prepare Bacen reports.
• To prepare the reconciliations of the accounting and tax books and the respective accounting entries.
• To attend Municipal, State and Federal inspection and external auditors.
• To monitor eventual change in accounting legislation.
• To carry out other activities inherent to the accounting department.
• To provide accounting consultancy in relation to local and overseas financial department.
• To support the billing process.
• To maintain the ERP accounting modules up to date with the accounting legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent.
• Intermediate in both spoken and written English.
• At least 3 years working experience in the accounting area.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle or equivalent system.
