YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
Inthis position you will be part of the Animal Nutrition team in Brazil and willbe responsible for managing and developing the performance of certain strategicproducts and or product groups and for the relationship management of selectedsuppliers.
Thesuccessful individual will report directly to the Technical Sales ManagerAnimal Nutrition Brazil. You will be working with a team of like-mindedcolleagues and your primary objectives will be to set and execute product andsupplier strategies to achieve gross profit and volume growth, develop newbusiness and to optimize the performance and financial return of existingbusiness.
Theposition holder can be in the headquarters in Brazil or work as a remoteemployee.
Job Description: DrivingBusiness Results: - Full accountability to deliver key business metrics (gross profit, volume, inventory).
- Creation and execution of product group, product and supplier strategies, which include supplier selection, volume targets, gross profit and other commercial objectives (in conjunction and alignment with country product management);
- Negotiation of contracts, agree volume bundling and allocation within countries, agree pricing on behalf of countries for centrally priced contracts, operate inter-company price mechanisms.
- Provide product-based commercial direction to local Brenntag product management and sales channels.
- Support the Marketing Manager Animal Nutrition EMEA in achieving the budget goals for the mutually agreed product portfolio in the region.
Product andBusiness Development:
- Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities within the overall segments and utilize customer and market potential to achieve growth.
- Support the sales growth of the product group across all geographies.
- Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance.
- Provide input for supply chain improvements.
Leadership/Relationships:
- Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant supplier communities.
- Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and can manage and influence, without having direct authority.
- Lead an internal network for local product management who are focused on the product group to ensure delivery of the strategies.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree (e g. Animal Science, Veterinary Science) or similar level of education.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional customers.
- Work experience in international settings.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as cultural sensitivity.
- High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.

- Enthusiastic, determined and highly motivated.
- Proven teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to work collaboratively and influence where no formal hierarchical relationship exists (matrix structure);
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
LanguageSkills:
- Dueto the international nature of this role, excellent English Language skills(verbal and written) are essential. Skills in other languages are a plus.
Travel:
- Approximately30% - 40% of domestic and international travel.
