Job description
Stepes, a leading provider of professional localization services and cloud translation management solutions, is seeking a PHP JavaScript Developer to join our software team in Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the company’s cloud translation management platform using PHP and JavaScript, and leveraging the latest AI and machine learning capabilities to deliver improved user experience and functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize the company’s cloud translation management platform using PHP and Javascript, and integrate AI and machine learning capabilities to improve user experience and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the platform.
- Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and security.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and AI/machine learning, and integrate them into the platform as appropriate.
- Work with the team to continuously improve the development process and maintain a high level of productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in web development with PHP and Javascript.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Javascript frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, React, and Vue.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch, and GPT knowledge is a plus.
- Good English communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
