Responsibilities:
- Systems development: Technical scope of the project, which will serve as a reference for the Internal Controls teams.
- High-level requirements for control systems.
- Issue and manage technical documentation in flows and systems, in accordance with established standards.
- Monitor and support validation and calibration activities.
- Support diagnostic activities.
- Evaluate external demands and problems that arise during development, discuss possible solutions with the technical team and follow up until closure.
- Carry out and monitor DFMEA System.
- Present the development status in a managerial manner.
Requirements:
- Experience in Automotive Controls Integration.
- Hands on experience on Model Based Development using Matlab and Simulink.
- Must have good understanding about basic automotive systems such as Engine, Transmission (Manual & Automatic), 4WD systems, Fuel systems, exhaust systems etc.
- Must have good understanding of automotive electronics (Controllers, Sensors actuators, Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flex ray etc).
- Must be familiar with advance automotive technologies or functionalities such as Cruise control, Stop & Start, ABS/ESP, MPFI, CRDI, GDI etc.
- Understanding of basic sensor and actuator diagnostics.
- Must be familiar with Powertrain control software development/validation/ calibration.
- Failure analysis techniques, FTA, HARA, DFMEA.
- Engine/Transmission calibration experience.
- HIL/Vehicle level function validation experience.
- Familiarity of functional safety concepts and ISO 26262.
- Good analytical skills.
- Proficient in technical communication, both Written, and Verbal.
- Willingness to learn and keep abreast of leading technologies.
- Good team player.
