Job description
We are seeking a skilled and creative instructional designer to join our team. This instructional designer will be responsible for designing and developing effective instructional materials for Pride Recruiting Academy and corporate training. This Instructional designer will be responsible for facilitating corporate trainings in English.
The Opportunity
- Define and document learning objectives.
- Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.
- Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.
- Design content to optimize learning.
- Generate the layout of the learning supports.
- Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.
- Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience facilitating corporate trainings in English.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning principles.
- Must be proficiency in using instructional design tools and software, such as Microsoft Suite and Articulate Storyline or Articulate Rise
- Must have experience in developing multimedia-rich instructional materials, including videos, animations, and interactive elements.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Facilitation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00pm US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
$15,000-17,000 per year ($R6.000 -$R7.000 per month) depending on experience.
