Job description
The transaction execution management team is known as Credit Product Delivery team, a middle office transaction management partner for clients of the Global Corporate Bank, Commercial Bank and Global Trade Finances Businesses. Credit Product Delivery provides expertise in the negotiation and review of facility documentation and end-to-end transaction management for Loans (and Traditional Trade Finance products). The Credit Products Delivery team partners closely with JPMorgan's Coverage teams, as well as internal/external legal counsel and facility agents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class documentation negotiation management and transaction execution of credit facilities and ancillary documentation focused on the LatAm market.
- Review and support front office in negotiating legal documentation across corporate lending categories, with a focus on Core Trade and Working Capital bilateral facilities
- Liaising with internal/external counsel to prepare and review transactional documentation
- Draw on expertise to suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Bankers and Trade Sale, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Tax, etc.) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution
- Manage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution; including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations
- Maintain oversight of the deal closing process
- Drive Wholesale Lending Services wider projects & initiatives
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Core Trade and bilateral Loan documentation, and auxiliary documentation
- Strong understanding of lending products and agreements including, but not limited to export and import finance, commercial and SBLCs and working capital finance
- Solid understanding of credit execution, transaction management and banking processes
- Solid decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to a resolution
- Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, both internally and externally
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with senior deal team members within the Front Office globally
- Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic
- Lead by example; set high standards of performance for self and others
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
- Think strategically and tactically to design process improvement ideas with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and priorities
- Legal background an advantage
- Language skills: Portuguese and English. Spanish an advantage
