Idemitsu Lube South America is a subsidiary of the renowned Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. and arrived in Brazil at the end of 2009, establishing itself in one of the country's main economic hubs, Avenida Paulista, in the heart of São Paulo. Since then, the Brazilian unit has been responsible for partnerships and projects for Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia.
Founded in 1911 in Japan, the Idemitsu Group collaborates with major automobile, motorcycle, and heavy vehicle manufacturers, as well as industries worldwide. In addition to its own line of high-tech lubricants, the company also develops original oils for automakers.
ILSA is seeking a Controller Manager to contribute positively to ILSA's overall business success and organizational development, inspiring trust, promoting teamwork, and creating an environment where individuals thrive and work collectively toward common goals.
Responsabilidades e atribuições
Controllership/Treasury/Accounting/Tax
- Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable processing.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize the use of financial instruments.
- Develop and implement cash management strategies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Generate regular financial reports for the CEO in Brazil, HQ in Japan, and regulatory authorities.
- FP&A: analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Assess the financial impact of various business initiatives.
- Set the financial goals and strategies with the CEO in Brazil.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Contribute to long-term financial sustainability and growth of the organization.
- Develop and manage budgets in coordination with various departments, getting approval from HQ in Japan.
- Create financial forecasts and projections to assist in strategic planning.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted and forecasted figures.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting principles and Japan HQ acceptable standards.
- Products and Services Cost management.
- Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Conduct internal audits to assess internal controls' effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Deal with external and internal audit.
- Manage and oversee tax payment, planning, and compliance.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, such as currency exchange rate risk and interest rate risk.
- Implement risk management strategies to protect the organization's financial health.

Requisitos e qualificações
- Bachelor’s degree In Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a compatible function in a relevant multinational manufacturing company.
- English language proficiency.
- Experience in industries with a "Continuous Production" process is desirable.
- Experience in leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
