In this role, you'll acquire, clean, and analyze large data sets and do exploratory analysis to understand our data and check if it meets project requirements. Moreover, you’ll be developing data products to make predictions and recommendations within ADP products. It's more than digits and dials - you're making huge decisions that impact millions of customers.

You'll need to have some formal education in quantitative analytics and know design patterns and data structures. You have the skills to create new models using state-of-the-art technologies. ADP DataCloud is a powerful solution that encompasses Reporting, Analytics, and Benchmarks, which currently serves more than 50,000 ADP clients and is growing globally. ADP Reporting is a centralized reporting tool that serves dozens of ADP products, ADP Analytics provides our clients with key information and insights about their organizations, and ADP Benchmarks allow companies to see how they measure up against the market using anonymized aggregated data. DataCloud is key to ADP's strategy as it derives value from our most valuable asset: ADP's data, one of the richest and most unique datasets in the world. ADP Labs located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large-scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, the United States, and India. As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for ADP DataCloud team.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Design and implement machine learning models system for various business problems;
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable machine learning pipelines using tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn;
• Evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement through data analysis and statistical testing;
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop innovative machine learning solutions that drive business value;
• Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into our product architecture and ensure seamless deployment and maintenance;
• Document and communicate technical design decisions and best practices to stakeholders across the organization;
• Continuously improve your skills and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI;

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in Python programming language;
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts;
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn;
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision is a plus;
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn is a plus;
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field;
• Experience with reinforcement learning, generative models, or transformers is a plus;
• Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning is a plus;
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices for building, testing, and deploying machine learning models in production environments;
• Knowledge of software development best practices and experience developing scalable software.
