Job description
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking an Implementation Consultant to join their team. Qualified candidates will provide technical and functional project leadership in EcoSys implementations, Hexagon's Enterprise Project Performance software.
This role will serve our clients in the LATAM region. This is a full-time position with a mix of remote work and limited onsite travel to the customer when this service is required. The successful candidate will be based in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- In this role you will frequently interact with customers.
- Participate in the full project implementation cycle
- Conduct EcoSys demonstration workshops and definition gathering workshops.
- Work directly with customers to create process documentation (functional requirements/design/lessons learned).
- Designs solutions by analyzing requirements. Must be able to estimate the effort required to produce deliverables.
- Applies analytical and technical thinking focused on providing a solution to customer’s workflow implementation problems, identifying alternatives and providing recommendations.
- Works with technical configuration and integration teams, providing technical/functional support to the team and developing configurations and customizations within EcoSys.
- Leads the creation of test scripts and materials; supports and performs unit and integration testing.
- Works with the team to develop EcoSys specific training. Conducts or coordinates training for customer users.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or similar
- Strong years of experience in industries such as mining, oil and gas, construction, engineering, IT consulting.
- Experience in using or implementing software packages such as ERP, scheduling and cost control software.
- Experience with Execution and Project Control.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies. Certifications is a plus
- Knowledge of software implementation approaches, Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience with software tools such as: Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Aconex, SAP / Oracle ERP, Oracle Unifier, MS Power BI or similar.
- Basic knowledge of database systems (Oracle, SQL Server), SQL statements
- Basic programming skills such as: Visual Basic, .Net, Java.
- Basic Integration know-how as API's / ETL .
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to lead in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to manage customer expectations
- Ability to self-learn
- Required languages: Advanced Portuguese and Basic Spanish as a minimun. English is a plus.
