Payroll Specialist Job Description
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and calculations. Additionally, you will handle terminations, vacation cost simulations, onboarding/offboarding processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related fields
- 8 + years of payroll processing experience for at least 800 employees
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Proficiency in English; Spanish desirable
- Experience with payroll software and HR systems
- Proven experience in training new employees in HR and Payroll
- Knowledge of e-social, DCTFWeb, and desired BI knowledge
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Ensure legal compliance in HR and labor law
- Experience in invoice processing and expense management
- Hands-on experience in accrual calculations and validation
- Familiarity with CCT/CBA application to payroll and labor cost simulations
- Experience in reconciling relationships between management and employees
- Oversight of payroll payments and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes
- Familiarity with Sinergy software is a plus
