Job description

Payroll Specialist Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and calculations. Additionally, you will handle terminations, vacation cost simulations, onboarding/offboarding processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related fields
  2. 8 + years of payroll processing experience for at least 800 employees
  3. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  4. Proficiency in English; Spanish desirable
  5. Experience with payroll software and HR systems
  6. Proven experience in training new employees in HR and Payroll
  7. Knowledge of e-social, DCTFWeb, and desired BI knowledge
  8. Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
  9. Ensure legal compliance in HR and labor law
  10. Experience in invoice processing and expense management
  11. Hands-on experience in accrual calculations and validation
  12. Familiarity with CCT/CBA application to payroll and labor cost simulations
  13. Experience in reconciling relationships between management and employees
  14. Oversight of payroll payments and account reconciliations
  15. Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes
  16. Familiarity with Sinergy software is a plus
