Senior Financial Analyst

The Source (Procurement) team is responsible for obtaining goods and services from external sources and are responsible for managing this process, including identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. The procurement finance team is responsible for understand needs and requirements, and managing risks.

The Sr. Financial Analyst role is extremely relevant in leading the Balance Sheet, Accounting & Tax topics and Business Plan & Actual results providing valuable insights and analytical guidance through a strong collaborative behavior. Moreover, financial leadership is key to deliver changes in the transformation journey we are going through as well as E2E perspective connecting with other Finance SC areas. The Finance Manager will be responsible for identify new ways of working, standardize, apply sustainable actions and challenge the status quo in order to ensure a high-quality service and improve our accounting processes and control environment.

This position is based at Sao Jose dos Campos – Brazil.

What You Will Do

The Sr. Financial Analyst may be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership to procurement through analysis and benchmarking of savings & spend to identify value-creating opportunities
• Drive transparency and insights to the financial implications of external market forces (e.g., inflation) and develop robust modelling to explain & forecast changes to supplier spend
• Provide end-to-end financial leadership, strategic support and project accounting for business cases & initiatives, such as sourcing RFPs (Request for Proposal), long-range financial planning, prioritization of investments, etc. leading to value creating opportunities
• Actively review and influence pre-negotiation strategies and supplier agreements to align with preferred terms and drive value opportunities
• Ensure proactive compliance with respect to Global Savings Policy and general accounting and business policies & procedures
• Deliver value through continuing to simplify processes, reducing complexity and providing relevant insights to enable excellence in business partnering and decision making
• Prepare management review decks and effectively frame & communicate business insights to senior management to help inform and drive fact-based decisions
• Own business planning & forecast cycles, month-end financial close and budget vs actuals analysis (i.e., spend, savings, external forces, functional cost / org effectiveness)
• Support benchmarking activities to ensure the strategy is in line with industry best practices

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s Degree is required in area related to Finance/ Accounting or Engineering/Business Management
• 4-6 years of experience
• The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• The ability to identify, recommend and implement process improvements

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with systems mainly SAP / Microsoft office / Business Intelligence Tools
• Experience as Finance or related business partner
• Supply Chain experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Financial modeling skills
• Compliance background and experience
• Advanced English is preferred
