Job description
Your main responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Design and execute tax planning strategies aligned with the company's financial objectives while complying with Brazilian tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS), and other statutory filings, while minimizing tax liabilities.
- Conduct thorough tax risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate tax risks and optimize tax efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and business units to understand business transactions and provide tax advice on potential implications.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field. Master's degree preferred;
- Proven track record in a tax planning role, ideally working with PIS/COFINS and ICMS;
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations;
- Experience working as a business partner providing tax planning insights for strategic decision making;
- Clear and precise communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
