Job description
We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engineer to join our team to work on Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil. As an Unreal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing game systems, mechanics, and features that will engage and engage our players.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a programmer/engineer in the games industry with at least one shipped title.
- Strong understanding of coding processes, standards and methodologies.
- Able to work well with others as well as prioritize, plan, and organize personal tasks.
- Excellent analysis, problem solving, and rapid deployment of effective solutions.
- Strong Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 4+.
- Comfortable with 3D math commonly used in game programming.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment remotely or in person.
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with both game designers and artists to develop game features, with a focus on developing systems that other developers are able to use to iterate efficiently.
- Collaborate with other engineers, principal designer and producer to develop game systems and mechanics that align with the vision and scope of the game
- Implement gameplay features in Unreal Engine 4 using C++
- Debug and resolve technical issues related to gameplay systems and mechanics
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding or passion for MMA or any of its associated martial arts
- Experience with tycoon or simulation games
- Experience with game analytics and data-driven design
