Job description
At a time of restructuring its financial area, a reference company in the market is looking for a new Controller to work with a focus on financial planning and implementing improvements in the budget sector.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the new leader of the controlling area will be responsible for driving the transformation on fronts related to the company’s financial and accounting planning, ensuring the accuracy of the budget and numbers reported to the Board.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze and report information on cash flow, financial health, budgets and short, medium and long-term projections to support board decisions;
Structure and manage the related team;
Recommend new approaches, processes and strategies for the company’s development, aligned with business objectives;
Restructure financial planning process, focusing on best practices;
Control tax operations, ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information;
Ensure the correct development, control and monitoring of the Annual Budget Plan;
Improve the budget management process and implement the OBZ methodology;
Maximize returns and protect financial assets by establishing policies, procedures, controls and financial reporting systems;
Plan and monitor routines in the finance areas;
Accounting, tax, budget and assets;
Manage the calculation, recording and generation of accounting information in order to comply with deadlines and current legislation.
Degree in Accounting Sciences, Administration, Cost Management, Financial Management or related areas;
Mobility to live in Curitiba /PR;
Previous experience of 05 years in controlling management;
Essential experience in implementing ZBB;
Experience in a family business desirable;
Advanced English;
Advanced Spanish will be an advantage.
