As a contractor with Estuary, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our website, ensuring it is both functional and visually appealing.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to transform design mock-ups into responsive web pages, using React to build components and integrating them with Gatsby to ensure they look and function seamlessly.
- Develop and maintain web pages using React and Gatsby, including integration with CMSs like Strapi
- Implement JavaScript-based functionality to enhance user experience and interactivity.
- Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness, focusing on SEO best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the website operates flawlessly across various devices and browsers.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies, incorporating innovative solutions when necessary.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible for all users, adhering to web accessibility standards.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure seamless content integration and updates.
- Work independently and efficiently, meeting project deadlines and contributing to the team's overall success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing projects built with React and Gatsby frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with responsive web design and modern front-end development practices.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards is a plus.
