For our activities in Brazil, we are searching for a phytosanitary specialist to support the local and international activities.
Within this role you are responsible for creating and implementing hygiene protocols for the breeding and commercial locations. You will be responsible for training of colleagues, stakeholders on hygiene control and developing, communicating and maintain hygiene protocols.
You will support the commercial team in diagnostics of diseases, including proper follow up and feedback to local colleagues and/or customers.
All activities will be in close collaboration with our central phytopathology, breeding, and quality departments, mainly situated in the Netherlands.
The phytosanitary Specialist reports hierarchically to the Managing Directors of RZ Brazil and functionally to Station Manager Brazil, Manager Quality and Research Manager Phytopathology.
Minimum Biology/Science Education and/or work experience. Interest in phytosanitary & hygiene.
Furthermore, you are very organized and have a good communication skill. We are looking for a local expert who is not afraid to make use of existing in-company expertise and processes.
Besides an academic level, we are looking for a team player and a very practical candidate who is not afraid of dirty hands and feet in the field.
Because of the closes contact with the departments in Holland, you will need to have a good level of English.
