Job description
A U.S.-based company enabling users to create custom-designed T-shirts and promotional products is looking for a Senior PHP Developer. The developer will be responsible for ideating, delivering, and supporting the iteration of products. The company is determined to help organizations and groups elevate their group merchandise game with their range of stylized products. The company has managed to secure more than $40 mn in funding so far. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and implement scalable and adaptable back-end systems
- Collaborate with front-end and data team to provide customers with new features
- Maintain a healthy back-end service environment and troubleshoot live issues
- Create testable, highly scalable, and maintainable code for the service
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience with PHP & SQL
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
- At least 3+ years of experience with SOAP/RESTful APIs and jQuery
- Fluent in verbal and written English
