Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on cultivating and managing strategic partnerships within the gaming industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating deals, and managing relationships with key stakeholders to drive our business objectives and growth.
- In this role, he/she will manage highly complex mobile initiatives, across organizations, collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members to gain support for business initiatives. The role requires innovative thinking balanced with an operational focus. He/she must manage deadlines, risk, and communicate effectively to cross-functional stakeholder teams and leaders as well as advocate for developer-centric platform improvements based on feedback, market research and internal analysis.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partners in the gaming ecosystem, including game developers, publishers, platforms, and technology providers.
- Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close agreements that align with our strategic objectives and financial goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new partners, ensuring a high level of partner satisfaction and engagement.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities in the gaming market.
- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure the successful execution and integration of partnership initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives against key metrics and objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize results.
- Represent Samsung at industry events, conferences, and in the media, establishing our company as a thought leader in the gaming industry.
Background & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent in experience preferred
- Solid experience in business development, partnerships management a similar role within the gaming industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in deal structuring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry, including market trends, key players, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.
