Job description
Requisitions:
Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or related Engineering, fluency in English mandatory, experience in machining, welding, and coating processes in the oil and gas industry, with experience in repair guidance. You will act as a vendor surveillance NOV, monitoring our work in our supply chain, traveling considerably to carry out this activity, which is available on the morning shift, but which requires a lot of dynamism and good communication.
Main Activities:
- Execute, guide and lead the disassembly/assembly service of equipment based on drawings
technicians, ensuring knowledge of the assembly method and ensuring that they are within the
NOV standards;
- Analyze the inspection reports prepared by those responsible, ensuring NOV standards and meeting the
applicable procedures;
- Identify and analyze problem situations, technically researching an alternative solution, ensuring the
proper functioning and a longer useful life of the equipment and ensuring that they are within the
NOV standards;
- Carry out visual inspection of equipment, notifying the state of conservation and operation in reports,
aiming to identify repair needs;
- Identify and list the parts needed to maintain or repair the equipment, working together
with the person responsible for the quality area to place orders for parts from the Purchasing sector, thus ensuring
that the request will adequately cover the maintenance and repair of equipment;
- Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance on the workshop's support equipment (rolling cranes,
HPUs, etc.) according to AIMS control software;
- Maintain standardization and develop recommended parts lists for equipment sent for repair;
- Carry out the appropriate disposal after inspecting the equipment for recommended repairs, as well as the non-compliance
compliances that occur during the repair process;
- Develop continuous improvement processes and actions with suppliers and internal resources of the company
workshop;
- Be the “single point” Technician to contact Product Engineering for technical repair questions;
- Work on process improvements such as development and qualification of suppliers' WPS;
- Develop product and service improvements such as developing tools / instruments /
Equipment for new acquisitions;
- Identify and develop new suppliers for processes involving equipment repair;
- Creation of QP (Quality Plan) with the aim of promoting summarized guides/guidelines for work stages;
- Attend meetings with clients and/or representatives;
- Participate in senior management critical analysis meetings;
- Keep the team trained and carrying out the tasks as described in the WIPs;
- Keep the place clean and organized;
- Comply with the Competency, Levelling and 5S program, as well as full involvement and responsibility with
same;
- Comply with quality, safety, environmental and occupational health objectives with their indicators and
goals;
- Ensure that all legal and internal procedures and standards required for employees, and necessary for the
operation of the company, are duly observed as well as preparing internal reports within the deadlines,
when necessary;
- Communicate the importance of meeting customer requirements, QMS requirements as well as requirements
regulatory and statutory;
- Comply with all company policies and procedures established by the Quality Management System
and SMS, as well as other Corporate guidelines;
- Perform other tasks related to the role assigned to you; - Seek continuous improvement in your
activities and operations.
