Job description
The GBS Regional Lead is accountable for managing GBS Shared Service Center activities including: o Ensuring GBS team’s adherence to defined processes and procedures o Establishing SLAs and KPIs for processes migrated to GBS to execute o Maintaining / updating / reporting process performance for GBS services o Working with the GBS Service Towers and Transformation Office to establish the GBS Regional strategy and roadmap for migrated processes and delivering those processes. The GBS Regional Lead will oversee GBS and BPO teams whilst establishing functional objectives for them that are in-line with the Functions supported. The GBS Regional Lead will work with GBS leadership on GBS wide improvement initiatives and drive a continuous improvement mindset within the SA Shared Service Center, identify and drive productivity projects within the migrated processes while also supporting projects that are interdependent with other GBS towers and the business locations supported. Key Responsabilities: ● Builds and owns the GBS improvement roadmap for GBS owned activities in the region ● Defines and manages the SLAs between the GBS retained organization, BPO provider ● Owns and reports on Shared Service Center KPIs and SLAs ● Manages key personnel reviews and any changes in key GBS personnel ● Owns GBS related regional projects ● Manages the execution of operational activity across the shared service center ● Oversees the execution of close across the GBS service towers in region ensuring timely and quality execution. ● Manages GBS Shared Service and BPO staff that are executing GBS activities ● Liaises closely with the regional Executive Financial Director and key stakeholders in region on the following activities: o Defining and managing SLAs and OLAs between GBS and the Business Units and Corporate Functions o Identifying projects and improvement initiatives for inclusion on the overall GBS roadmap for the region. ● Supports transition of activities into GBS that are in scope for GBS service delivery. ● Leads process improvement and transformation of services for GBS in scope activities (on-going and future projects) across multiple global entities. ● Identifies and helps drive resolution of GBS-related issues that have an impact on the business and alerts the corporate controlling team and Executive Finance Director of any issues ● Leads benchmarking activities and continuous assessment of GBS process performance measures, driving measurable improvements over time ● Provides excellent customer service to key stakeholders ensuring proper execution across the defined GBS service catalogues Drives continuous improvement through collaboration of thought, innovative ideas, and proactive behavior
