As the LAM Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving the development of the Varian business in Latin America. You will be the main business partner to the local Sales and Service organization and responsible for driving financial performance and executing the short- and long-term financial planning for the region.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial performance for the sales and service business
• Report to the Finance Head, acting as a trusted partner for Sales and Service
• Coordinate forecasting and budgeting process serving as the main interface to the Business and the Americas Finance team
• Support the sales process and review bids ensure appropriate pricing, margins, and terms
• Manage headcount and operating expenses in the region to drive productivity and achieve profitability commitments
• Prepare executive level reports and financial presentations
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as a senior financial project controller for critical projects in the region
• Support the development and growth of the finance organization in Latin America

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Required past experience: 7+ years of finance/business work experience, preferably in reporting, accounting, or controlling and /or equivalent experience
• Exceptional analytical skills and clear thinking; experience building scalable models and processes
• Experience managing a team or acting as a leader in cross functional initiatives
• Strong collaborator and partner with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across business and finance teams at all levels
• Demonstrated track record in revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and pricing strategy
• Fluent understanding of P&L dynamics and related KPIs
• Experience preparing presentations for executive management
• Comfort and familiarity with a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
• Advanced levels in English and Spanish
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint (Think cell)
