General Summary:
Qualcomm Ventures is seeking a highly motivated individual to take on a combined role as a Venture Capital Professional, encompassing both Analyst andAssociateresponsibilities. The ideal candidate will be involved in deal sourcing, sector analysis, and publishing reports. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain a broad experience in venture capital, working directly under the leadership team to drive investment success. We are seeking an Associate for a "partner-track" role. This position is based in the Bay Area and involves travel to startup locations and events.

Each year, Qualcomm Ventures adds around 20 new investments, leveraging its team's expertise and Qualcomm's resources to support portfolio companies. Level of Responsibility:
• Works under supervision.
• Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
• Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:
$104,800.00 - $157,200.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
