Job description
Engage families of Aboriginal children between the age of 0-5 years in order to facilitate attendance for lead testing with the Healthy Start program. Provide lead safe information, assess housing for possible impacts from environmental lead, assist to facilitate remediation, and to participate in health promotion activities to highlight lead safety amongst Aboriginal families.
A key aim of this position is to reduce the time from the detection of a high blood lead level (BLL) reading to the time the house assessment is completed.
Salary up to $76,300 gross per annum plus superannuation.
