Job description
A U.S-based company that delivers real-time competitive data to monitor brand and trademark usage, affiliate marketers, and global compliance, is looking for a Full-Stack Software Architect. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating software concepts and assisting with the development. The company provides simple web-based reports that make it easy to track rank, ad copy, market share, keyword reach, trademark use, and affiliate activities. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop software designs and assist with the development process
- Maintain a high level of productivity across multiple projects even without guidance
- Design architectural blueprints and drive technical leadership within the engineering team
- Skilled in code review, writing project documentation, etc. during phased releases
- Develop metrics to quantify product quality and engineering efficiency
- Mentor and motivate junior software engineers as well as interns to bring forth innovative solutions
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in PHP
- Good work experience in CodeIgniter MVC Framework .
- Good Knowledge of MySQL , jQuery, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, XML
- Experience in managing complex queries
- Tech stack : PHP 7.2, CodeIgniter 1.7.2, MySQL 5.7
- Sound knowledge of application designing and architecture
- Experience with third-party API integrations (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
- Experience with standard development tools such as github/bitbucket, docker / containerisation, cloud devops, Jira
Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in SW development with majority of experience in PHP
- Familiar with Agile and hybrid working environment
- Strong communication skills
- Overlap with US PST time zone for 4-5 hours
- Work experience with SMBs and Start ups orgs
- Prior work experience on a web ad management system, SEO, web crawlers would be an added advantage
