Technical Lead Job Description: ( Technical Lead)
As a Technical Lead , you are responsible for doing the application assessment by connecting with customers and come up with best approach of implementation as part of app modernization and onboarding the application.
- Propose and build repeatable patterns to accelerate and move hundreds of applications implementations.
- Be the technology SME for the modernization/migration of applications/platforms in the customer ecosystem.
- Ability to drive across the application life cycle by adopting modern engineering practices including DevOps, Azure platform, Application security and tools.
- Responsible for the evaluation of technical risks and map out mitigation and placement strategies.
- Responsible for advising on cloud architecture solutions to effectively meet the strategic needs of the business.
- Support the delivery execution teams with guided approaches, skill development and bridging the customer gaps.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese to connect with local customers.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft .net framework (2.0/4.0)
- Experience with code migration from older .NET frameworks to .NET 4.8 or .net 6.0.
- Experience with IIS web server configuration in windows servers (2016/2019/2022)
- Experience in developing, configuring, deploying applications using Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure, Cloud PaaS and IaaS Services, Windows Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure performance optimization, API Management, SQL Azure, Azure Caching.
- Good experience on Continuous integration and deployment with source code repos and configuration management technologies and best practices.
- Understanding of key cloud native technology solutions such as CI/CD pipelines, open-source, and cloud native technologies.
- Experience with leading migration projects covering No-VM environments to VM on-prem or in cloud environments. This could also include ’lift and shift’ or full modernization migrations.
- Good knowledge in fixing Windows OS migration issues.
- Understanding of AD Integration with windows servers
- Experience in writing Windows Batch scripts -Task Scheduler Jobs
- Good experience in design and development of ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server based web applications
- Knowledge on DB servers and database (Oracle, Sybase & SQL Server)
- Experience in unit test case reviews.
- Able to validate the Dev, Testing and Prod environments before migration.
- Provide the technical guidance and able to guide the development team.
- Support the testing team.
- Help to prepare Build and release scripts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex cloud concepts.
