A US-based company building an efficient platform that enables sportspeople to have an excellent gaming and hospitality experience is looking for a Lead Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with designing, building, and modifying custom components and software systems using a modern development stack. Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Analyze system performance standards and consult with system engineers or users to build software solutions to real-world, complex problems rapidly
- Analyze data usage, work processes, and systems flow while also investigating problem areas
- Develop and run test procedures for various software components
- Perform integration of existing software into modified or new systems
- Derive performance requirements and technical software design by analyzing user requirements
- Plan, manage and track deliverables on long-term software deployments and short-term sprints
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
- Must have 3+ years of experience in developing full-stack software on client/server and web solutions
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working with Angular, Java, React Native, ReactJS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, GraphQL, Stripe API, AWS, and Serverless framework
- A deep understanding of developing HTML UI, JavaScript, CSS, and web services
- Solid participation in scoping projects
- Robust organizational skills and ability to work with both functional and technical resources
- A strong liking for learning new programming tools, applications, and languages, along with new technology and implementing it for problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and translate business needs into technical requirements
- Strong fluency in spoken and written English
