Job description
Amazon is looking for a BI Program Manager to lead Data scope in the BR AVS Central Team with excellent technical and analytical abilities. The WW Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Program are a suite of services designed to help Amazon's most strategic vendors grow and deliver the best customer experience by working across all key retail levers (e.g. selection, availability, operational efficiency, catalog quality, and marketing). The service is delivered primarily through Brand Specialists assigned to specific vendors. As a BI Program Manager, you will enable scalable data flow through our systems so we can accurately make decisions. Your priority will be to set-up a data structure we can feed our reports and set-up data processes for possible changes and enhancements across key retail metrics, working continuously to improve the productivity of your team. You will work in close collaboration with Brand and Instock Specialists, Vendor and Instock Managers, Finance Business Partners and other key Retail stakeholders to understand vendors and business’ needs. Finally, you will be expected to contribute to continuous enhancements and innovation within the service. You should be passionate about diving deep into analysis and creating frugal and scalable solutions, resourceful and customer focused. You need to have a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic business environments while managing the needs of different groups of stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
