Job description

Eaton’s looking for a Corporate Controller to work in our Valinhos' plant.

What you’ll do:

Job summary

As a key member of the Corporate finance team, this position reports directly to the Finance Director.
This role is instrumental to manage financial performance of corporate ledgers in the region, including analysis of forecasts and actual performance.
Work close to HR, IT and Legal by providing financial analisys, strategy and properly reports.
Manage corporate profit plans, rolling forecast, main KPIs and will be focal point for all regional corporate ledgers.
Demonstrates leadership and sponsorship for regional and international teamwork.
Handles development and MOP (Manager of People) responsibilities.

Job responsibilities

A. Develop and coordinate corporate profit plans, monthly forecasts, goals & objectives, and financial reconciliations. Including IT budget.
B. Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency.
C. Monitor corporate policies and procedures, ensure financials are reported in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and local statutory requirements.
D. Implement budgeting and financial reporting systems to provide timely and relevant information to the corporation.
E. Ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain integrity of general ledger. All corporate sites in the region (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Brazil)
F. Provide leadership and support for the Balance Sheet Review process. Compliance with corporate policy, including SOX.
G. Establish a work environment that encourages individual career development and growth in order to provide adequate and qualified financial professionals opportunity for advancement.
H. Supports and monitors variable pay for performance, as applicable. (Scorecard)
I. Ensure compliance with local GAAP, statutory and fiscal requirements, as required.
J. Support ad hoc projects
K. Ensure governance for local activities and insurance demands
L. Review and approve insurance renewal policies in Brazil and Argentina
M. Manage the insurance broker’s third-party resource
N. Provide ad hoc support and financial analysis to compensation & benefits (Healthcare)
O. Support Eaton's pension plan in Brazil, with market analysis, investment policy 
P. Provide ad hoc support to Legal and provide financial analisys (litigation quartely closing)
Q. Responsible for the monthly corporate allocations

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience as a Manager of People
• Ability to analyze financial data and results in order to achieve planned results. 
• Working knowledge of USGAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements.
• Fluent in English
• Desirable knowledge in Oracle, SAP and Power BI
