Job description
Main Responsabilities:
Managed different projects launched in Brazil, generating regulatory strategies to fulfill business needs, developing the team to understand the importation process, registration, and commercialization requirements for all new products that the company what to launch or for the regular portfolio making improvements in the daily basis
Lead regulatory submissions, including preparing and submitting product registrations, notifications, and other required documentation to regulatory authorities.
Keep up to date on regulatory developments and trends related to cosmetics, providing insights and anticipating possible regulatory impacts or risks, and communicating with the company to avoid disruptions in the business due to a lack of registration/regulation strategies.
Review product formulas, ingredients, and labeling to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ingredient restrictions, claims substantiation, and labeling requirements.
Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external consultants to facilitate timely approvals and address regulatory inquiries or challenges.
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmacy;
Experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of regulatory professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Fluent English.
