What you will do
Help design and implement functional requirements
Build efficient backend features in Python
Integrate frontend components into applications
Manage testing and bug fixes
Prepare technical documentation
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
Coach junior team members
Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Work with a data analytics team at Indeed:
Producing highquality code
Communication with Engineering & Data Analytics management
Alignment with existing development teams
Must haves
Around 5 years experience in software development.
Significant practical experience with:
Python (ideally 5 years)
Knowledge and practical experience with:
Strong Python (must)
Django
REST API
SQL
Data Structures
Databases: MySQL Postgres
Unit testing
Flask
Deploying python code into containers (kubernetes/Docker)
CI/CD
UpperIntermediate English.
Nice to haves
AWS
Poetry
Terraform
Django
ETL development experience: Airflow is a plus
Jupyter Notebooks
Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus.
