Main responsibilities of this position:
- Evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs;
- Applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials;
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties;
- Develops mechanical and electro-mechanical products by studying customer requirements;
- Researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators;
- Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes;
- Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost effectiveness and efficiency;
- May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions;
- Carry out technical specification analysis for the client;
- Preparation of technical drawings using digital tools such as Autocad and Solidworks;
- Participate in technical meetings to assist management in decision-making;
- Study the technical feasibility of the project, aiming for the lowest cost-benefit for the business;
- Analyze cost reduction of existing product designs;
- Coordinate activities with designers and designers in project development;
- Find technical solutions for each project;
- Carry out structural calculations for each project;
- Preparation of technical documents; Execution of tests and simulations on equipment
- Carry out activities related to the Quality and Work Safety Management System, ensuring that the activities performed are in accordance with current Quality Standards.
