About the role
The Account Manager - supplements, will be responsible for driving business growth by building and strengthening relationships with Key Accounts, while also interacting with key decision makers cross functionally to fully understand needs, identify opportunities, and provide valuable solutions:
Key responsibilities
- As key contact with customers, expand relationships to grow the business for existing products and also developing new product development solutions to address customer needs
- Work with customer purchasing, manufacturing, and other groups to maximize existing business by solving problems, expediting the sales process, and strengthening overall business relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for each account including updates and follow through on all current projects, as well as identification of emerging opportunities.
- Keep abreast of customer needs, industry trends, technology advancements, and market changes; and provide ongoing communication to R&D and company leadership to support product development and market development projects and ideas.
- Collaborate internally with customer service, manufacturing, and other key functions to meet customer.
- Manage current business, project pipeline and budget
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related courses
- Sales experience in the supplements market Advanced
- English is mandatory. Spanish is desirable.
- Mandatory to be mobile for travel (national/international) more than 50% of the time.
