Job description
As a Senior Game Developer, you will spearhead our development team, driving the technical direction of our projects. You will work closely with artists and other developers to bring our game concepts to life. Your leadership will not only shape the technical aspects of our projects but also mentor and guide our talented team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the game development process from conception to release, ensuring that all technical milestones are met.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement game mechanics and user interfaces that align with our vision.
- Optimize game performance across multiple platforms.
- Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Mentor mid-junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth within the team.
- Stay abreast of the latest game development technologies and trends to keep our projects innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in game development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Unity.
- Strong programming skills in C++, C#, or other relevant languages.
- Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality, successful games.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of leading development teams to success.
