General Description:
We are searching for an Configuration Engineer , preferably with Financial experience. This position will be tasked with customizing solutions during implementation, while on a call with a vendor. The software is a highly customizable product on multiple platforms that are configured and engineered differently for each customer. A solid background of working within the Salesforce platform doing configurations. Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting.
Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate in English both verbally and written to interact with team members and clients.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and direct the configuration duties
- Develop and perform quality assurance check points within your team to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Take ownership of your team's business results by developing and leading training and execution plans
- Problem-solve routine to complex issues
- Create and implement tools that increase quality, security and productivity
- Experience with container deployments and automation tools like Jenkins
- Comfortable talking to clients while completing tasks, such as creating end points, deployments from one company to another while they are talking and troubleshooting issues and configuring web the web service on the back end
Your Background and Skill Set:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related work experience as a Configuration or Implementation Engineer
- MS Sql Server Management Studio: Understanding of DB Design as related to Enterprise software configuration, querying, and installation; NOT a DBA focus
- Network troubleshooting skills required with packet analysis valued
- Experience deploying with NOMAD deployments and Vault is highly preferred
- Strong JSON skills
- Configuration and deployment experience with Web Services, TLS, SAML 2.0
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment with Jenkins
- Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent people and teamwork skills
- The ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills for problem solving
- Background using Jira + Confluence and code repository software (GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Background working with a globally distributed, cross functional teams

- Experience working with a system written Python on the backend
- Familiarity with testing in iOS and Android mobile platforms
